About this blog

The name is Daniel and I'm a Swedish business professional living in Japan since 2014. I have experience working in several international companies, such as IKEA and Pasona.I originally came to Japan to study for an MBA Degree at Doshisha Business School in Kyoto.

My current position is Controller at the Finance & Controlling department at Daimler Truck Asia, a multinational automotive company. In the past, I`ve won the prize for the best financial essay in Sweden and have also received several scholarships. I'm running this blog about daily encounters and experiences working and living in Japan.

Follow the thoughts and experiences of my everyday life in Japan, work, trips, amazing food, health, and my past university life. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring Japan by bicycle and collect stamps from all the temples I stumble upon along the way.

私は２０１４年にスウェーデンから日本へ来ました。同志社ビジネススクール修士課程（MBA）を卒業しました。現在は東京に住み、ダイムラーの三菱ふそうに勤めます。このブログで日本での経験について書いています。

ここでは私の考えや、日本での日常生活、旅、驚くような食べ物、健康、仕事についてを中心に書きます。休みの日には、読書、自転車で探索したり寺社巡りをし、御朱印を集める事が私の趣味です。
