Study-in-Japan

– Why should you study in Japan?

From my experience, I have found three appealing reasons why studies in Japan are beneficial.
  • There’s an advanced learning environment. You can learn and study the latest technology and phenomenon in various fields. Get to know what enabled Japan’s amazing economic growth period. There are excellent research, computer, and library facilities. Japan has several Nobel prize winners.
  • Low tuition fees as well as generous scholarships. Compared to fees in other developed countries, Japanese universities are relatively inexpensive for international students. There are also many government-sponsored scholarships as well as scholarships from the universities themselves. In addition to that, there are many private scholarships in Japan, and I’m sure there are several grants for research in Japan in your own home country too.
  • Fascinating culture and high technology. Living in the Kansai area has given me a feeling of both the old and new Japan. There is a good mix of the East and West where most things really co-exist in harmony.

The “Global 30” Project is a Japanese government project aiming at inviting 300,000 international students annually to Japan by 2020. In 2019, the number of students was about 310 000. 13 universities have been selected to be members for now. There is no Japanese proficiency required at the time of admission and you can take the entrance examinations from your own country. If you get accepted into one of these degree programs, you can count on getting the best knowledge of the Japanese language and culture. The doors are wide open!
